The AV-30 is a fully customizable electronic flight instrument, offering an array of advanced capabilities including both traditional ground-based and modern GPS navigation.

 

Honeywell AeroCruze 100 Autopilot – The AeroCruze autopilot which follows the pilot’s roll steering commands for basic instrument flying and is FAA certified to execute complex flight plans for instrument procedures. The AeroCruze has all the necessary instrument flight features including:

• Altitude selection and hold

• Emergency autopilot level button helps to bring the aircraft to a wings-level position

• Accurately follows programmed flight plans

• Built-in GPS and ground-based navaid tracking and navigation

 

Garmin GNS 430W – The 430W is a popular, panel-mounted "all-in-one" GPS/NAV/COMM unit featuring WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) certification for precision Ground-based and GPS approaches. Its 4-inch color display, and 5 Hz processing provide excellent visual graphic moving map display and 3D terrain alerting. It integrates a 10-watt Communication radio with active and standby frequency selections for both communication and navigational functions.

Garmin GTX 325 transponder – The GTX 325 A Smarter Way to ‘Squawk’ meeting the newly mandated FAA requirements for ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast) to fly in dense airspace around the country.  Featuring an easy-to-read LCD display designed for optimal viewing in all lighting conditions, GTX 325 offers a number of useful timing and display functions. Timers include trip time, flight time, count-up and count-down, while display functions include readouts for density and pressure altitude as well as static (outside) air temperature. In addition, the altitude monitor function displays the current deviation from the chosen altitude, as well as provides a “leaving altitude” alert when the deviation exceeds the preset limit. Dedicated push buttons numbered 0 through 9 make for quick and easy squawk code entry, while a dedicated VFR button pulls up the VFR code with a single keystroke.
