Ascend Aviation has an aircraft for rent by qualified pilots or Ascend students under instructor supervision. Rental rates are hourly or minimum use rates for multi-day trips. Pilot renters should be current in category (airplane) and class (airplane single engine) for day and night and hold a valid flight review. Renters will be required to complete Ascend’s Cessna 182 qualification/refresher (as appropriate) ground and flight training. This training can be satisfied by an Ascend issued bi-annual flight review required IAW, 14 CFR part 61, § 61.56.​

FAA Requires proof of US Citizenship.  We will need to see either a Birth Certificate or US Passport.

Rental Requirements: You must hold a valid pilot certificate, meeting any minimum experience or currency requirements, and demonstrating proficiency in the specific aircraft you wish to rent.

Checkout Process: Before renting an aircraft, you must complete a checkout with one of our certified  flight instructors. This process is designed to familiarize you with the aircraft’s systems, operating  procedures, and handling characteristics to ensure safe and proficient operation.

Rental Rates and Policies: Ascend has established rental rates and policies governing the use of rental aircraft. 

Insurance Coverage: You will be required to provide proof of insurance coverage or obtain rental insurance to help cover potential liabilities while operating the rental aircraft.

Availability: Aircraft rental availability can vary depending on demand, maintenance schedules, and overall fleet availability. We recommend contacting our flight school in advance to reserve an aircraft for your preferred dates and times.

Compliance with Regulations: When renting an aircraft from ascend aviation, you are required to follow all applicable regulations and guidelines established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and our flight school.

Cost: $250 hr (Includes fuel & Oil) / Minimum 2 hrs for a 24 hr period (Based off of Tach reading) - We will reimburse for fuel expenses based off of S83 Fuel Rate
